This is an awareness ONLY course and can be delivered in person or online, it does not include climbing or any practical element. This course provides learners with the knowledge and skills of the hazards and potential risks involved in working safely on ladders and wooden poles in a telecommunications environment.

This accreditation covers Gas Testing and Cover Lifting. It provides learners with the knowledge and skills to identify the hazards and potential risks involved in working safely on or in proximity to underground structures and operational buildings.

This accreditation ensures that individuals working in the civils aspects of network construction and maintenance are suitably trained and understand the dangers of working in this environment.

SA001 Overhead Safety 3-Day Course This qualification covers three modules: Overhead Safety, Pole checking and Joint user Poles. It provides learners with the knowledge and skills to make them aware of the hazards and potential risks involved in working safely on ladders and wooden poles in a telecommunications environment.

This accreditation assesses a learner’s ability to work effectively in a construction utility environment. Learners will be able to demonstrate safe methods for locating and clearing blockages in the telecoms utility pipe networks when working on utilities infrastructure.

The purpose of this accreditation is to provide learners with the necessary information to understand and demonstrate the requirements for duct laying and slewing in the telecoms utility pipe networks

This course covers core drilling into telecommunications jointing chambers in accordance with industry standards.

This accreditation covers the requirements for working safely in single and multi-occupancy dwellings including buildings in accordance with industry standards and practices

This course is designed to teach the Tetra Safety system which is required by anyone climbing poles o ladders on the Openreach Network, Virgin Media, EE, City Fibre and more

This course covers one module: Safe Use of Respiratory Protective Equipment. It provides learners with the skills and knowledge of selection and use of adequate and suitable Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) in the workplace, in order to comply with the law. 1/2 day course in the safe use of abrasive wheels including stihl saw

This accreditation provides learners with an essential foundation in relevant matters of asbestos awareness. It is suitable for candidates who already work in the construction or utilities industries or candidates looking to work in construction or the utilities.

The SA022 – Track and Locate Underground Services course provides learners with the knowledge and skills of planning, safely locating and avoiding underground services.

This course is for anyone working in a low-risk environment and includes preparing to enter and work safely.

This Medium Risk course is accredited by CABWI and is essential for those working in a confined space where access risks are present and escape breathing apparatus must be taken in.

CABWI Award in Working in Medium Risk Confined Spaces Course equips candidates with the skills and knowledge to work safely in medium risk confined spaces including Top Man and Entry Controller duties.

This course is for anyone working in a high-risk environment when there is a specified risk that cannot be controlled or eliminated.

Our SHEA Gas scheme is designed for individuals who require access to operational sites within the gas industry, both permanent and temporary, at all levels including operatives, supervisors and management.

Our SHEA Power scheme is designed for individuals who require access to operational sites within the power industry, both permanent and temporary, at all levels including operatives, supervisors and management.

Our SHEA Telecommunications scheme is designed for individuals who require access to operational sites within the telecommunications industry, both permanent and temporary, at all levels including operatives, supervisors and management.

Our SHEA Water scheme is designed for individuals who require access to operational sites within the water industry, both permanent and temporary, at all levels including operatives, supervisors and management

The National Water Hygiene (‘Blue Card’) scheme plays a vital part in ensuring the protection of public health and promoting good water hygiene practices. The scheme has been developed in collaboration with all UK water companies.

The Signing Lighting and Guarding unit for Operatives is also known as Unit 2 and can be undertaken as a one-day course, as a standalone unit on a NRSW card.

NRSWA re-assessment course is specifically designed as an invigilated examination-only course, adhering to the requirements set by the Highway Authorities and Utilities Committee (HAUC). Once this is completed the candidates Street Works card will be renewed for a full 5 years.

The Signing Lighting and Guarding unit for Operatives is also known as Unit 2 and can be undertaken as a one-day course, as a standalone unit on a NRSW card.

The full 5 day NRSWA Street Works Operative course is for anyone who wants to undertake physical work in accordance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991. Delegates are required to demonstrate their competence in safe methods of excavation, backfill and reinstatement of modular, flexible and composite surfaces and concrete footways and location and avoidance of underground utilities.

The full 5 day NRSWA Street Works Supervisor course is for anyone who wants to monitor physical work under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991. Delegates are required to demonstrate their monitoring in safe methods of excavation, backfill and reinstatement of modular, flexible and composite surfaces and concrete footways and location and avoidance of underground utilities.

NRSWA OPERATIVE or SUPERVISOR REFRESHER course is specifically designed to refresh your memory on adhering to the requirements set by the Highway Authorities and Utilities Committee (HAUC) before sitting the online open book tests. Our trainers will spend 2-3 hours each day guiding you through the various books before you sit down for the invigilated test. Once this is completed the candidates Street Works card will be renewed for a full 5 years.

We have several training rooms and training facilities that can be hired for your own use. You must adhere to our health and safety policy and must also have appropriate insurances in place. For access to practical training areas you need to demonstrate that your trainer/assessor holds the relevant certificates of competency.
