The City and Guild’s Level 2 Award in Working in Medium-Risk Confined Spaces Course (6160-02) equips delegates with the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely in classified medium-risk confined spaces. Delegates will learn and understand the procedures and equipment they require to perform their tasks safely while keeping in line with industry standards and regulations.

SA001 Overhead Safety 3-Day Course This qualification covers three modules: Overhead Safety, Pole checking and Joint user Poles. It provides learners with the knowledge and skills to make them aware of the hazards and potential risks involved in working safely on ladders and wooden poles in a telecommunications environment.

This is an awareness ONLY course and can be delivered in person or online, it does not include climbing or any practical element. This course provides learners with the knowledge and skills of the hazards and potential risks involved in working safely on ladders and wooden poles in a telecommunications environment.

At Our Centre
Face to face courses delivered by qualified trainers and assessors with a wealth of practical experience in their chosen industries. Training rooms seat from 8 to 20 learners and offer state of the art presentation and computer testing facilities.
Live online
Live and interactive online sessions run over a Zoom or MS teams session. These are useful for knowledge only based assessments where there is no practical assessment i.e. EUSR SHEA schemes, Overhead Safety Awareness, Underground Safety Awareness, Asbestos Awareness and Awareness of Safe Working in Single & Multiple Dwelling Units etc.
In-house private
We can offer several in-house courses run for a specific group of people which have been customised to meet their learning outcomes. Certification can be via in-house certification or by Awarding Organisation approval.
At Your Premises
Where practical, we can offer training and assessment at your own premises. This service serves to substantially reduce the cost of your staff travelling and subsistence and also reduces the total downtime for your workforce whilst training. This service is available where practical by arrangement.

NRSWA (Streetworks)
Streetworks training and assessment are available at our North West Training Centre and also at customer premises and remote sites where possible. We can also offer on-site assessment by arrangement where all the assessment criteria can be met.
Confined Space Training
We can offer Low Risk (1-day), Medium Risk (2-days), High Risk (3-days) or High Risk plus rescue (5-days) confined space training at our North West Training Centre

Smart Awards training and accreditation includes Telecoms, Construction Industry, Health & Safety, Streetworks & more. The more popular course are SA001 Overhead Safety, SA002 Underground Safety, SA006 Safe Working in Civils and SA051c Tetra Leaning Ladder & Flat Roof Accreditation
